What To Keep An Eye Out For At E3 2012

With E3 only 3 weeks away, people are going nuts for new info. This is a short guide on what you should expect from this year’s E3 press conferences.

Beyond Good & Evil 2

After first being announced in 2008, fans have been waiting patiently for as long as 4 years for Beyond Good & Evil 2. With a new screenshot out of the bag last week, and the announcement of the title being put on the next generation of consoles, it’s understandable that Ubisoft may recapture fans trust with a few fresh concept screenshots.

Dead Space 3

With a leaked video of some development art and an unconfirmed story plot, speculation for this game’s existence has been hot recently. Common sense will tell you that this game is being developed, the question is, are Visceral going to announce it at this year’s E3?

Luigi’s Mansion 2

With an unspecific 2012 release date, Luigi’s Mansion 2 could drop at any time. It would be sensible of Nintendo to announce the date during their E3 conference. So if you want a Luigi’s Mansion 2 launch date and maybe some footage, then you’ve got a bit of E3 watching to do.

PlayStation All-Stars

After having only 6 confirmed characters, it doesn’t take a sorcerer’s apprentice to work out that Sony are bound to spill some more characters very soon. Besides, PlayStation All-Stars comes out in October, so it’s not like they can keep us hanging for much longer. If you want to find out more about PlayStation All-Stars and its characters, then tune into E3.

The Last Guardian

The Last Guardian was scheduled to release in 2011, but a few employee departures meant that the game got pushed to the sidelines and was delayed. The game’s fate is now very questionable, but we predict Sony are either going to announce a release date… or a cancellation.

The Last of Us

Blending survival and action together, Naughty Dog presents another blockbuster title that many people are dying to see more of. With The Last of Us down for a late 2012/early 2013 release, E3 is Naughty Dog’s ultimate chance to show off what this game is really made of.

Wii U Online Details

We know it has motion controls and touch screen technology, but we know nothing about the online capabilities. If Nintendo are going to draw any hardcore gamers to the Wii U, they need to start by showing off some online footage at E3 2012.

Remember, Techtroid will have complete and detailed E3 coverage. This is the place to be on June 5th, in 3 short weeks.
