Tune of the Week: Devil May Cry 4

The son of Sparda slashes his way into this week’s Tune of the Week.

In 2001, gamers all over got the chance to throw on a red trench coat, have cool white hair and kill demons in a very fast yet stylish way, with guns and a sword. The name Dante is synonymous with Devil May Cry and Capcom. He is the main protagonist in the first three games and without a doubt one of gaming’s coolest characters.

In Devil May Cry 4 however, Dante takes a back seat as the main protagonist to Nero, a metal head with similar white hair who like Dante is human/demon. Dante plays the main antagonist role while still managing to get even cooler.

Devil May Cry 4 is the most beautiful looking game in the franchise and it allows you to play as both Dante and Nero.

The game received mainly positive reviews and was often praised for its cool rock battle music that complemented the hack and slash, bullets blazing action flawlessly.
