TOTW: Mirror’s Edge

Faith is Still Alive on this week’s TOTW!
One of the more innovative games to come out of this generation is Mirror’s Edge.
We’ve seen many third person games with parkour elements (Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed, Infamous,) but Dice bravely made a first-person Parkour game.
The story is weird, but no one cares, (do they?). People play the game because of how fun the parkour mechanics from first person view are. In addition, the game looks gorgeous thanks to the power of the Unreal Engine 3.
On to the music: the theme song of Mirror’s Edge is Still Alive, sung by Swedish singer Lisa Miskovsky. The song is appropriate for this game because all of Faith’s life she has been running and making dangerous leaps of faith from rooftops. The moment the cops see her they immediately start shooting at her and after all these years she is Still Alive.
Magnus Birgersson also known as Solar Fields is the main composer for Mirror’s Edge’s score. He is an Electronic artist and Swedish like Miskovsky.
Here’s a relaxing tune he composed for the game.
