TOTW: Mass Effect 2

The Normandy has landed on Tune of the Week!

This is the 25th Edition of Tune of the Week!

When choosing a game for this week’s Tune of the Week, I knew right away it had to be a game that achieves exquisite story telling, gorgeous visuals, unmatched gameplay, and a breathtaking soundtrack. That game had to be Mass Effect 2.

In Mass Effect 2, Commander Shepard must recruit a team scattered throughout the galaxy to stop the Collectors from abducting human colonies. Each member you recruit has his or her own personal agenda that they desperately want taken care of. In addition, to add even more personality to the recruited members, they all have their own individual theme song.  This is the theme song of Tali.

Fans of 3rd person shooters will find comfort playing Mass Effect 2 and so will RPG lovers. Bioware has done an excellent job at mixing both elements with their class system.

Jack Wall is the main Composer behind Mass Effect 2, he hired a team to help him create the all inspiring soundtrack behind Mass Effect 2. In an interview Jack Wall describes the Suicide Mission as “the best thing I have ever been a part of.”

The Illusive man theme song is as mysterious as he is.

The Suicide Theme is really something to be amased at. The ending run with Comander Shepard is by far the most epic moment in Video Game history. The fact that he was running while the collector base was exploding and he jumped with all his might to land on the Normandy will forever be, my favorite moment.

Yeah they would be good. I rather see Jack Wall do it. He was perfect for the first 2 games.
