Radical Entertainment closes its Doors

It was confirmed yesterday that another games developer, Radical Entertainment, has had its doors shut despite having being behind some strong titles.

The developer, who was behind the Prototype games, was closed by Activision with the majority of its staff losing their jobs and the remainder filling support roles across other Activision projects.

Despite their latest title, Prototype 2, debuting at number one in the charts it failed to maintain its popularity with its Metacritic score falling below the expected 80%.

Those who are waiting for Prototype on PC, rest assured that it is still set to release on time next month.
