QOTW: Half-Life 2

Hi everyone, after a quick absence I’m back with TechTroids’ popular Quote of the Week!

Here we post some memorable quotes from an array of games that have made an impression and stuck with us.

This week’s quote is from none other than Half-Life 2.

Quote: “The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.”

What is it from? Half-Life 2

Year: 2004

Context: This took place in the intro of the game when the The G-Man gives you a briefing, if you will.

Who is The G-Man? What are his motives? Where did he come from? The thing is we honestly don’t know…yet.

That’s what’s so fascinating with this character, you don’t really know what his motives are. You’re kind of against him yet somehow he’s the puppet master orchestrating all the strings behind the scenes of all the events from the very first Half-life and beyond.

It’s been 5 years since Valve’s release of Half-Life 2: Episode 2, and they have already announced that they would not be sharing anything at E3 2012 and no word on Half-life 3.

But I for one can’t wait for what happens next in this series.
