OBJECTION! Ace Attorney Comes to DVD and Blu-ray in Japan

Yes, you heard it right folks, Takashi Miike has done it again! He’s made another video-game based live action movie, and this time around it’s based on none other than the bestseller hit, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.
The DVD and Blu-ray release will be available this August in Japan, and it will include a special commentary track from the creator of the Ace Attorney series, Shu Takumi, along with Takashi of course. Like a usual DVD, it contains bonus interviews and other miscellaneous goodies for those die-hard fans.
Luckily for US, they share the same Blu-ray region as Japan, so Westerners can give it a go and watch the foreign version. If you understand Japanese, then more power to you, and if not, well with the overwhelming hand gestures and emphasized eyebrows, it would be quite easy to piece out what’s happening.
And if you really want to see this movie with English subtitles, you can hop on over to NYC because the New York Asian Film Festival will play this movie with English subtitles on July 8 and July 15.
