Remember earlier in the week we reported the outrageous download price for New Super Mario Bros. 2 on the UK eShop? Well, the folks over in Australia have it much worse.

Yes the Australian eShop is selling the game for $69.95AU – that’s £46.65 GBP, $73.37 USD, or ¥5,812 YEN.

What on earth is going on here Nintendo? This is not how you warm customers to the digital option!
