Nintendo Direct reveals Brain Training 3DS, more

Nintendo’s new ‘Nintendo Direct’ has already aired before in the US and Japan, but today marks the first time European gamers get to see the service in action.

What is it? It’s very simple, Nintendo key players like Iwata and Reggie present the latest Nintendo news via video stream.

Announcements:

• A New Brain Training 3DS game, Nintendo referring to it as ‘Devil Training’.

• Three Sega Game Gear games will be released through the 3DS eShop on March 14th in Japan. They are Shinobi, Dragon Crystal and Sonic The Hedgehog: Triple Trouble. The games will also arrive in Europe in mid-March.

• Fire Emblem: Awakening, just ‘Fire Emblem 3DS’ in Europe, coming to Japan on April 19th. European release confirmed for fall. DLC will include new maps and episodes.

• ‘Mario Tennis Open’ for 3DS coming to Japan on 24th May and Europe May 25th.
