New Super Mario 2D Sidescroller on its way

Nintendo have announced that they’re releasing a new Super Mario 2D sidescroller for the 3DS.

It’s due for release in the next fiscal year, according to reports from Game Zone.

Though, not many details have surfaced about our plumber’s next adventure, it will be released amongst titles such as Luigi’s Mansion 2, Mario Tennis, Paper Mario and Rune Factory 4, which should appear in stores over the next 12 months.

So if you haven’t had your fill of Mario based action with Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land, the upcoming 12 months are going to be nothing short of a ‘Plumber’ filled delight!
