Miyamoto wants Starfox to do a Barrel Roll on Wii U

Something like this.

Shigeru Miyamoto has said he wants Metroid and Starfox games on the Wii U at some point.

The first of these games? Anyone could say it was coming and the shock wouldn’t exactly be huge. (It’s expected, right?).

Miyamoto said on Metroid: “With Metroid it’s very easy to imagine some interesting implementation for Wii U. I think that having another screen with the gyro built in really gives you a lot of interesting opportunities for development, and we can bring a lot of our games to life in a completely unique way with that.

“I feel like the possibilities of the GamePad for Metroid could be really fantastic… There’s certainly a lot that you could do there for that game.”

But what about Starfox? Now that’s the one (most) fans want to get their hands on.

Well, Miyamoto said he “personally” wants to see Fox doing Barrel Rolls on Wii U more than anything else.

What does this mean then? It’s coming, trust us. (When a man of his power says he wants it, it happens).

Oh, and the Action Figure says so too…
