Grand Theft Auto V Announced

Rockstar has posted a teaser image for Grand Theft Auto 5 on their site Rockstar.com. The image shows the game’s logo, along with the first official trailer date, scheduled to be released on November 2nd.

GTA 5 is rumoured to be set in Hollywood if some sources are to be believed, with a release date of 2012. That would seem likely, considering the surprise announcement today.

This leads us to believe that the game has been in development for quite some time too, and is for the current gen consoles; we wouldn’t be shocked to see the Wii U get an ‘Ultimate Edition’, as Nintendo will be first out the gate this time around.

Expect a flurry of details November 2nd.
