DayZ could come to consoles

If there was ever a time that you wished you were a PC gamer it’s probably now with the recent surge of quality titles and mods.

The recent release, DayZ, has proved to be rather successful despite it being a mod and not a fully establish standalone title. PC gamers nation and global wide have joined in universal praise for the title and now it seems their positivity may well pay off as a standalone title could be heading our way on both PC and consoles.

The console version release will depend on how successful the PC version is says project lead Dean Hall. He stated, “You’re not going to put it on the consoles if you’re only going to sell 100,000 units or something like that.

“DayZ will be driven by its PC development and it will innovative on that. And, once we’re at a point, we’ll take it and do a Mac version, 360 and PS3.”

Day one modding for the PC has been swiftly denied but it may become possible later on down the line.
