After much wait, Capcom, Namco Bandai, and Sega have finally disclosed details about their collaborated title, a  strategy role-playing game for the Nintendo 3DS, Project X Zone.

According to Namco Bandai producer, Kensuke Tsukanaka, the idea for Project X Zone arose when Namco contacted Capcom. From then on, Tsukanaka was given the green light and consequently, Sega joined the team.

Characters from Project X Zone stems from each companies best-selling titles. The latest issue in Famitsu reveals screenshots wherein characters are paired-up in twos and fight in a side-scrolling action.

So far the characters that are making appearances are Capcom’s Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine from Resident Evil, Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter, X and Zero from Mega Man, Demitri Maximoff from Darkstalkers, and Dante from Devil May Cry.

Then, from Nacmo Bandai: Sanger Somvold from Super Robot Wars, Jin and Ling Xiaoyu from Tekken, Kos-Mos and T-elos from Xenosaga, Yurie and Estel from Tales of Vesperia, Kaito and Black Rose from .hack.

Alas, Sega’s character line-up: Shinguji Sakura and Ogami Ichiro from Sakura Wars, Pai and Akira from Virtua Fighter, Kurt and Riela from Valkyria Chronicles, Touma and Cyrille from Shining Force EXA, and Ulala from Space Channel 5.

Expect more characters to pop up and other hidden characters as well because this list is not final; and with the game half-way finished, it is expected to hit the Japanese market towards the end of the year.

Yet, the North American release is still in the air.

Fatima, It's me. I just wanted to say I'm sorry. If you would, would you please email me? I would like to thoroughly apologize as well as say a few things. I know this must seem out-of-the-blue and probably borderline stalkerish, but I knew of no other way of reaching you. If you don't email me, I completely understand. I hope all is well. I really do. Sincerely, Ol' Chum
