Are Wii U ‘Accomplishments’ Nintendo’s Form of Trophies?

We’ve been promised everything that the PS3 and Xbox 360 can do and more with the Wii U’s online, but we’ve yet to see much, (anything?) with Nintendo seemingly saving some big announcements for September.

However, a forumer at NeoGAF has posted this very interesting document that suggests Nintendo is in fact using an achievement system like we suspected. Apparently, what you see in front of you is a Project Cars “Career Design Document” dated May 2012. There are the PS3′s trophies, the Xbox 360′s Gamerscore and the Wii U’s ‘Accomplishments’ listed.

We expect no less Nintendo if your claims for a hardcore machine are to be realised. But what do you think?
