3DS XL gets Circle Pad Pro

The 3DS XL, Nintendo’s bigger (and slightly better model of the 3DS), will be getting a Circle Pad Pro!

The news comes from a Q&A with Nintendo, published by Japanese magazine Famitsu, that says the accessory will appear before the year is out.

We can’t help but wonder why the second stick wasn’t included from the start though. The ‘Circle Pad Pro XL’ coupled with the 3DS XL – now that’s going to be one huge machine. Still, we are glad for the inclusion, albeit an odd way of doing it.

A missed opportunity here Nintendo. Maybe it’ll appear on the 3DSi XL?
